What should we put in our contest reports this year?

can it be from any type of contest?? or is ti just fba or kcbs or any of the other sanctioning type bodies?
reason i am asking is peggy has us entered in the super tailgate mania on january 29th here in st augustine. it is a fund raiser for the united way and the competition part is wings. that's right!!!!wings!!!
we just needed a break from the inspection thing coming up on the 24th and it seemed like a good way to just have some fun for a change plus it is for a good cause and it's their 1st year.
as far as pics goes she got a neat little kodak digital camera for christmas so that is no problem.
just let us know if this meets the criteria

I'd say any contest, sanctioned or not, that way, if you're wanting to compete somewhere, you'll know.

Also, entry fees.

I think this is a great idea. It could become the type of thing where you come here to review the good contests before making out your schedule for the year or deciding on a certain event. My only concern about this is that it could become a b*tchfest about contests. So many times folks make comments without considering all the facts, especially with the anonymity of the internet. If we can keep this thing factual, whether good or bad, it can be a great tool! We also need to understand that two different folks at the same contest could have two completely different opinions and that there are two sides to every story. Great idea.

I certainly agree if this becomes a b*thfest, it will lose its value. But, in another thread on this subject, you gave me invaluable info on Bentonville when you said the site doesn't drain well. Now I know to be prepared. When I get a chance today, I'm going to write a report on a contest we did last year and have you guys critique it.

There really isn't a place to go look and get "contest" reports. What I'll do is take the information as it's posted and compile something for general reference.

Fair, objective and open. If you can provide information about sites and the contests that would help others, that's the goal.

I'd also like to see something about what smokers the winners cooked on and how many FE's are there.

Amenities. Do they have decent electric or do I need to bring the generator?
