I have upgraded my smoker and need to sell my SM55. It seems that it had another name but for the life of me I cannel;t remember it. I want to list it on craiglist and I think the model name would be helpful. Thanks in advance

I believe it was called the "Super Smoker".
All the electric ovens were called Super Smokers that's what the SM prefix on the model stands for however the 50/55 was most commonly refereed to as the super smoker. We had the SM050 (black) and the SM055 (stainless).
I think my 55 is called a CS55, I'll have to check when I get home.

I've always known it as the "55" or Super Smoker. I have two of them now, an SM055 Stainless, and an SM055 Black and wouldn't trade either for a newer model. They do everything I need them to do, ...and I guess I like the hands on smokin' process.
Many say the black one is an SM050, but the tag on mine clearly says "SM055". Maybe it's a collectors item, like the copper 1943 Penny?? <Grin>

Thanks to all. Mine is black. It works great but I wanted the wider unit and do like the electronics better.
