If you've been around the forum a while, you've probably seen Tom post words of wisdom. Usually something about him not being an expert on whatever the subject is but that he's cooked with a bunch of experts, followed by some pretty damned good advice...

My guess is he's either finally going to admit he is somewhat of an expert. Or... That he actually boils his ribs and makes his pulled pork in a crockpot.

What's everyone's guess?

HA!I remember looking at that recipe a couple of times. I "loosely" followed the recipe once, except I didn't marinate it, used a different rub. Also I didn't make any finishing sauce, or wrap it. Except at the very end when I wrapped it and put it in the cooler for a couple of hours. But I did smoke it for around 12 hours though, well maybe 14.

Maybe I was a little "looser" with the recipe than I first thought. Wink
