Where's the Smokette Probe?

Hey, all. Can anyone tell me just where the thermostat probe is for the Smokette? My oven temp seems to be running a little high today (versus set point) and I thought "hmmm... never tried to clean the probe in a couple of years of use... maybe I need to do that" to make sure it is getting a good reading... thanks.

Hi Woodburner,
you probably found it by now, but its on the back wall,behind a piece of metal held in with 2 screws, might just need to clean the outside of the metal clamp..good luck

I dont think any of the material that came with my smokette said anything about a probe!!!!
Exactly how often is it to be cleaned????
