Which CS models are not eligibile for contests? | Cookshack

I've heard some of the models are not eligible in KCBS contests. Before I do my homework researching the various models which ones are not eligible?

The FEC products are eligible,and the traditional are not.

On the main CS page, there are three "tabs" near the upper right. The Residential and Commercial are not.

Out of curiosity why aren't the other models allowed in the contests?

Fast Freddie/Love Shack BBQ (Guest)

They don't allow electric and gas fueled cookers. I have a feeling this rule is going to change one of these days. I did a contest this past weekend. Every type of cooker was allowed. The guy next to me had several gas units. I cooked on my FEC100 and received a medal for 5th place ribs. "Hooray"

Because they have a definition of BBQ the fuel source must be wood. All other CS's the heat source is electric, not wood.
