I have an SM50 and I have 9 slabs of spares that I will be smoking tomorrow. With the high temps tomorrow at 100 and the heat index at who knows? So I won't be in the mood to smoke using my drum smoker. I figured to be easy on myself and use the Cookshack.
I'm planning to hang the ribs in order to do as many as possible without sacrificing great results. I intend to smoke them a 250 for however long it takes for them to finish.
I'll be using the Cookshack hooks to hang the ribs. My question is this, will hanging the ribs cause my rub to just slide off the meat along with the juices of the meat whole it is cooking? In turn losing much of the flavor from the rub?
