Did some chickie wings this morning-2nd cook.
Went by the recepie in the c.s. cookbook-except got carried away with the paprika-I thought I was adding in the cyanne pepper-turned out okay tho.
Took a few out to my brother to see what he thought-"excellent" he says. He also tasted left-over pork chop I did the other day-"excellent" and do you want to cater my son's graduation this yr?
Geez, only smoked two things and have a job to do already. Will probably do a couple of butts and maybe a couple of briskets. Better head for the timber and get some wood to dry. Should be fun.
Gotta take some time out for fishing sometime tho. Wanna somke some fishies too..

I have Smoked Trout Fever REAL BAD! And NO trout! The Dollies are running, but I don't want them. I want some Bows! Ice is too thin to ice fish, and season's not open anyway. What is a girl to do? Hooligan season (anadrymous smelt) is here. Has anyone smoked smelt? Hooligan are extremely oily. Hence, their other name Candle Fish. You can stick a piece of wick moss in a partly dried Hooligan and it'll burn up to 7 hours! Good eating, though. One of my favorites...Herring season is almost here. Anyone smoked Herring? Confused
