Just got my smokett and am ready to season it. One question. When I put wood chips is soes it matter if they fall through the holes to the bottom of the pan?

Uh...I think wood chips are not recommended in a Cookshack. Did'nt you get a box of hickory chunks with it? I think you should have. They are just the right size to fit up to about 4 - 6 at a time, although only one is recommended for the initial break-in. After that, cook a big fat pork roast in it to season it good.
