wood chips and pellets

Hi all
Does anyone know where different kind of wood chunks can be purchased in Conn ? Ive seen at Home Centers where they sell various kind of woodchips and pellets and only have Hickory and Mesquite wood chunks.Has anyone used woodchips and pellets in their cookshack?

Do not use wood chips and/or pellets in your cookshack. It is designed for chunks.

If you want different flavored chunks, try ordering from Cookshack, The Charcoal Store, J.N.( http://jnfirewood.com/index.cf...d/index.cfm/pageid/2),

So some smokers are designed for chips and some for chunks? My Masterbuilt says to use chips but I wondering if I could use chunks. Wuz the difference?

Gonna answer my own question, did a Bit 'o' research and found the Masterbuilt can use chunks, means only having to reload once or not at all depending on how smokey you want the food. Essentially gives you the option of upping the smokiness. It won't hold chunks the size of the Cookshack, but that still simplifies things over chips.

Gotta get some chunks now.
