I already have plenty of Hickory and Apple wood, but I have been searching around for some good Cherry wood. Here in western North Carolina there are occasional big wild Black Cherry trees. Some guy I called that clears land sold me about 1,000 lbs for $35 !!!
I am happy now. Well, I won't really be happy until someone buys my truck so I can buy my Cookshack model 055 smoker !!!
I am chomping at the bit wanting to get started smoking some killer meat.
Has anyone ever smoked meat with any of these types of wood??
