Hi guys, I am so touched that you guys were thinking of me. We made it thru the hurricane in one piece. I was lucky enough to find my family a generator before the storm. We ran it for heat tv, and fridge and freezer.

We were so very lucky compared to a lot of NJ and lots of other states. We are located in the middle toward the top of the state away from the coast line. We had wind damage but not a lot of rain, only lost one tree at the back of our property. The devastation around us was so sad. We were only out of grid power for 5 days. Some folks in our town are still out today.

I have not been on the forum as much as I'd like to in the past few months, I have been volunteering at my kids schools a lot. I was gonna smoke today, but we currently have over 3 inches of snow on the ground with wind, MOTHER NATURES ROUND TWO!!! (I know that would normally not stop me, but it can wait until tomorrow).

Such a wonderful community I am a part of! Thanks again for the concern and prayers, please keep the prayers going for the rest of those affected so much worse than my family and neighbors, we still have safe dry houses to live in.
