Anyone know what type of paint Cookshack uses on their black smokers? Is it powder coated or just sprayed black paint?

My "guess" is powder-coat. Someone else will chime in.
Are you looking to touch up your smoker? They're well insulated but I would still use a high temp barbecue black. Depending on what you're doing, it comes in spray can or regular.
Best option--find out what Cookshack uses so you can match it. They may have a touch up kit.

Definitely powder coated.
More out of interest than anything else. I'd guess powder coated, the Masterbuilt and Bradley are, and Cookshack is renowned for it's quality. All the best mates.

Good to know, kinda narrows the gap between the Essential and Elite lines. Powdercoated steel is essentially rust proof.
