Is it okay to brine a turkey and a chicken in the same brine or should they be separate? Going to use SmokinOkie Holiday Brine.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if they're being brined concurrently.
Agree with Max, but just remember, chicken doesn't take as long to brine as turkey!
Never thought about the chicken not taking as long as the turkey. I've brined a turkey before but not a chicken. I'll have to look that up and see what the time frame for that is. Thanks.
My experience with whole chickens:
3-5 lbs = 12 hrs
5-7 lbs = 24 hrs
quartered parts from either size = 6-8 hrs

I always just go overnight on split chickens. I give whole turkeys two days or did before I gave up the practice. I just buy them already brined nowadays..in fact you got to really look hard to find one thats not factory..brined..pumped..enhanced or whatever they call it in your area.
