I have the SM-008 with the cart
My question is I received 4 casters but I only mounted the 2 rear I'm a little stumped on mounting the front casters or can you?

Re your question.. That'll work.. I mounted all four on the base..
I actually received 6 total as I got the 008 first and mounted two on the rear of the smoker. Then when I got the base I added the four to it. So, I have two that'll likely never get used.. but, I know where to find them if I need them as spares..

Roger, I'm not sure I fully understand your question. When I got my base (2 months ago) there were 4 holes on the bottom of the base, one for each of the four casters that were shipped with the unit. Does your base not have the front holes?
