With an L of 1.5 and an H of 3.0, setpoint of 170*, using BBQ Delight Hickory Pellets, I was able to run 28.5 hours on 15 pounds of pellets over three days. The temperature varied between 195* to 236* for the three day event with an ambient temperature of 80* to 98*. Several times I did increase the temp to 250* to heat the protein to the required health department temps but for most of the time the setpoint was on 170*. I looked at the ash pan and it is less than 1/3 full. This is some efficient cooker.
I have enough pellets left in the hopper from the 20 pound bag to cooks some ribs and chicken which I plan on doing this evening.
