Bentonville is usually a who's who of competition cooks. The last two years, the contest had over 60 teams. I have nothing bad to say about this contest. There is usually plenty of space for everyone. They provide free power. I guess the one bad thing would be that the contest site doesn't drain well, so if it rains, be prepared. If you happen to hear your name, the money is great. They pay $150 for 6th - 10th place in each category and pay through five places overall. If you want a little extra excitement, there is a Friday night iron chef type category where you receive the "secret" ingredient about two hours before you have to turn-in. It adds a little fun on Friday night.
