Any of ya'll that like to smoke shrimp,Albertson's is having their 12 count or under freshwater prawns this weekend for $7.99/lb.
They usually run $12 -$14 lb.
Split along the back and loosen the shell some.
Marinate about an hour in zesty Italian dressing with plenty of Cajun seasoning.
Use your smallest piece of mesquite,get it smokin' good and then add shrimp.
Smoke 20-25 mins. at 200� and then check...They are big and might use another 5-10 mins.
I just single layer mine in a shallow pan to cook.
You can add a little extra olive oil or butter and a little white wine to sop your bread in.
