Hang sausages in model 008?

I've been smoking for several years with my Cookshack 008, but I've recently gotten into grinding meat and stuffing my own sausage. Has anybody ever hung sausage inside a 008? I was wondering if it had the space to do so. I was wondering if the sausage would hang too low because the smoker is not huge.
