Shipping costs are killing me for pellets and its hard to find any variety of cooking pellets except those small bags at retail stores. Looking for good quality apple, cherry, hickory and oak. I do have a pickup so can drive reasonable distances to get them. Sure would appreciate some ideas. Maybe I need to become a supplier--anyone sell wholesale other than traeger with their level of quality?

Check with Fast Eddy. I don't know how much prices may have changed or exactly what types he has available, but I got ten forty lb bags of oak and ten of pecan at $10.00 a bag. That was in August and the shipping was only $126.00.
I think the break point on shipping is 400 lbs.

If you have the room for storage, and he has the flavors your looking for, that's the way to go. I actually had my pellets two weeks before I got my smokers.
You can call me at 816-213-3473 and I'll see what I can do
