Surge protector.

Do any of you use a surge protector for your smokers? I’m thinking about buying the SM025. And if you do use a surge protector, which one?

I have surge protectors scattered around the house for lots of pricey electronics. I use Tripp-Lite Isobar. Never gave a thought to using one for the smoker or outdoors. I am not aware of any weatherproof surge protectors but I suppose any good quality unit, with overhead protection should do the trick.
