Thoughts? I'm intrigued enough that I think I'll buy one with wireless block. Two of the last 5 times I have used my FEC the flame has gone out (while asleep). This thing also measures ambient temp and will notify you if the temp drops below 215.

Seems a little pricey for me, but I'm just cheap.

Let's try to figure out why you are having problems with the FEC with the fire going out. Is this just a new thing that has started happening? If so, have you changed anything, ie. pellet types/brands?

Does your hopper have some dust in the bottom of it?

I could really use this today. My PB's are chugging away and I am at work. Would be so nice to monitor them this far away. Instead I am going old school and texting my son to go check on the smoker.

If you had a WiFi security camera (like Arlo) you could point it at the temp probe read out (Maverick/Thermoworks). Then you could access via smart phone anytime. As a bonus you may catch you neighbor sneaking a bite!
