I place my units on the tail of my toy hauler. But as the doors are opend they will fill the back end of the trailer. I run a fan to help push the smoke to the rear.

Smokey Mountain Smokers, and Pellet Envy both have covered porch on the tail of thier trailer. Smokey Mountain's trailer opens into the rear. This gives it an open area for the smoke to blow through. Nice setup.

Most cookteams use a setup similar to what Randy mentioned.

Some use the area, where the smokers sat,as a work area.

We ,and many others ,have a plastic barrier, which can be zippered to hold in A/C,a heavy shower curtain,or insulated blanket that they walk thru,to keep out smoke and hold in A/C.

The trailer gate is supported by jacks at each front corner.

If needed CS has zippered covers for the FEC,and we cook in the pouring rain.

Something to consider?

Seems like there used to be a decent little bbq joint in Watkinsville, years ago.

Any connection?

We added an awning to cover the ramp. It zips on and off the rear to tow. It allows us to cook on the ramp during a down pour. We also have walls which will zip onto the roof, to block out a blowing rain.

They call them an add-a-room.
