When is Chris Lilly Having a cooking class???

Based on my visit to Big Bob Gibson's BBQ in Decatur a couple months ago, Chris ought to get back into the kitchen. Good chicken, pork was sub-par. Not impressed at all. I know comp BBQ is not the same as restaurant Q, but come on, make it a "great" experience, not a downer.

I'm personally waiting for Mike Davis of Lotta Bull to put a class on, that's the one I'll goto.

You must have had a cold and your taste buds were off I live in Decatur and They always have Great Food. I would take any advice he wants to give me.

Nope Jason, didn't have a cold, and didn't have a cold one. Better half said the same thing about the pork. Chicken was great. I'd give the pork a 7 for taste/tenderness. Nothing to write home about.

i asked Mike (Lotta Bull) when he was going to have a class.

He just laughed and walked off. I told him he could charge $500 a person and give 10 classes and they'd all be sold out.

Guess he's just in the zone right now and doesn't need the extra $$$.

Yes we spoke with him He said he not ready for that yet. Classes are a major fund raiser for the CBBQA we are a 501c3 we do Q and lots of Charity/Service work as well as Educational activities.

Russ, Do you really think he would tell his secrets? I don't belive so, I believe he is to smart to give his secrets away. Russ, I hope you and your family have a great Christmas and Happy New Year.

I heard that Chris Lilly is putting on a class at the Pamona Fairplex in Pamona California on July 27 & 28, 2007. Prices are a couple hundred dolloars or so depending if you are single or a couple.

Mike Davis will be in Calif in Jan or Feb in 2008 doing our CBBQA Institute
