Has anyone baked corn bread in their smoker?
I have a new FEC100 and am wondering about using it for baking. Anyone have a favorite recipe to share?

i seen where that ribdog fellow said he does bisquits in his so i guess cornbread would work to .
Well, I think I'll give it a try tomorrow and let you know how it goes.
i will be watching for it i love cornbread so many different ways to go with it
now that im thinking about it i will try starting it off in a hot cast iron pan on the stove and stick it in the smoker bubbling hot

I don't see why it wouldn't work. But I would follow JC's advice and heat the cast iron skillet up on the stove first rather than trying to get the FEC to warm it up first.
I didn't get to it yesterday ... looks like the experiment will be tomorrow ... I'll post the results. Thanks for the comments.
