I have tried the box on top of the smokette thing, and it just isn't what I had hoped for.

Does anyone have anytype of plans for something on a smaller scale.

Thinking of something smokette sized.

Thought about a box built of thermax and a seperate fire box with a hotplate burner or something to make the smoke and have it run into the base of the other box, maybe a fan to draw air in or out or just push it through.

Any ideas or sugestions would be great.

I want to do cheese mostly, but can't get enough smoke with the box on top of the smokette.

If you're not using the CS baffle or anything like it, then just use the Smokette.

All you need is a lower heat source, so maybe a heat place and put sawdust in the plate ala Alton Brown.

You already have the smoker, just figure out how to control the heat at a lower seting
