I have read enough to know I need one of these so I dont have to open the door of the smoker to check the meat temp. I do have a few questions.
1) On my ofset smoker do I need to drill a hole in it to run the probe & wire through.
2) What do you do if you wrap the meat in tinfoil, does the foil give you a false reading.
3) What kind and what model should I get and where can I purchase one.
