I'd say if you aren't having grease problems and not lots of pellets in the bottom, you should be fine at home....but a young comp cook that is trying to cook all his products on one FEC could run into some unwanted timing issues, which would cause him to become a "situational cook". The need for that was covered by David , our fine instructor, in the CS comp class.
