Jerky rod/shelf

I think it would be tough to put strips of meat on those tines.... when I use the normal jerky rods from CS, I have to be careful not to poke my fingers as I push the rod through the meat. Your tines look pretty close together and the whole thing looks like it could get pretty unwieldy by the time you have it half loaded. Just my $.02

What would be nice, would be to take your frame idea, and provide 'slots' that the normal jerky rods could fit into... thus keeping them from moving forward or back and also possibly falling off the side racks.

With the normal rods, I slide them into the side rack and you have to be careful to keep them perpendicular to the rack so that one end doesn't fall off... other than that, they work fine.

Thats a good point i had thought about that too. Im thinking that if i take a small diameter pipe about an inch long and split down the middle weld this to either side it would make it easier to get the rods to stay in place. Back to the drawing board!
