Does anybody have any idea what to use for jerky rods in your fec?

I bought some small diameter wood dowels at Home depot and cut them to proper length, they seem to work okay for me.
I went to the local hardware store and bought some of the really light expanded metal. I lay it on the standard wire racks in the FEC.
I can lay out 20 pounds (or more) of Jerky on my 6 shelves.
And, I can cook all the bits and peices, not just long ones.
Just one approach.
Works wonderful for me.
