One other quick question has anyone ever used a lem meat mixer or something simular that hooks to your grinder to mix your meat and spices. How well does it work is it worth the price?

I have the Lem 25 lb meat mixer that attaches to the grinder. When I make small batches of sausage I mix by hand but I do fairly large batches with friends and family (200-300 lbs) and the mixer does an excellent job very quickly. For me, it was well worth the price. It is a bit tricky to get it apart to clean it so don't lose the instructions!
