Took advantage of the labor day sale and my smoker arrived on 9/4. Seasoned it that day and went shopping for some butts. Next day applied a little mustard and some Paul Kirk rub. Put it in at 5pm at 225 degrees. Took it out the next morning and shredded it for work. I didn't have time to FTC. Can't believe how good the finished product was. It was the first time that the bone actually slid out. Wife was a little perplexed at the cube which she named Wall-e. However, after dinner she wasn't joking. She said it was the best bbq ever. Now I'm off on my next smoke. A 13lb brisket. Thanks cookshack and all the posters for the wealth of knowledge on this board. Glad my stick burning days are over.
