CS doesn't sell the Traeger pellets with the Alder. Traeger has another plant and I believe it's Oak, not Alder based, so what they told me is that what CS sells are the Oak Traeger pellets.

FE's gets them done by someone else. I heard he was getting out of the pellet business, but haven't talked to him lately.

OK My bad, while going through CS product page clicking through FEC100s and such, I "assumed" they were the fast eddy pellets, I sent cookshack a email, etc, they are traegers, but there different than the ones from the local store, did a cook with them and definatly different. actually smokier? or am I just getting that damn good LOL

Eddy sells his own brand, but not through Cookshack. You have to buy directly from him.
I have a Traeger commercial smoker/grill and the Traeger pellets do not have a strong enough smoke flavor for me, so I switched to BBQr's Delight pellets and they are much better! Traeger uses Alder and BBQr's Delight uses Oak for the filler. I prefer the 100% pellets from Epps Farms, but the freight is too costly from Kansas to NC.
