Well I picked up some pigs wings from Restaurant Depot. Stocked here as KC Hawg Wild Wings.
3 pks per case- 12 "wings" per pack- frozen.
$46.46/case.

Tried to do several ways suggested and not- came up with this.

Out of the bag, thawed "raw" product (fully cooked pork shanks)- looks a little gelatin"ish"
smells a kinda like Spam.

Grilled only- pretty good- nice light pork flavor- very tender.

Fried- pkg recommends deep fat frying at 350 degrees- I just pan fried to test- tastes a little like a fried chicken leg.

Smoked- SMO45 for 1 hour (155 degrees internal temp) with about 2 oz Hickory at 225 degrees.
(27 degrees outside) just oout of the smokey- not much for presentation but taste delicious- a little like smoked ham.

Smoked and grilled (Weber gas grill) nice presentation, delicious flavor- just a tad of char and and a nice smoke.

All very trender and fall off the bone very easily.

Fun to try something new. Hope you all can try them.
