Price of meat probe

There was another post, so you can do a search and it's out there and the search option is a good one to learn if you're new to the forum, we've covered a lot of ground in 8 years.

I think a better option would be to call CS if you have a question about their pricing.

Thanks, Smokin'. I looked but couldn't find anything. My eyes are so strained from reading everything I've read that I can't read no more! I figured they must be built out of something special - something directly related to the FEC's controller - that made them so expensive. But from all outward appearences it just looks like a piece of cable with a probe on the end...you know? Thnaks again!

Are you needing to replace one?

If they are under warranty,or just a CS problem,they tend to replace them free.

Other than that,it would be rare to hear of someone having to replace one.

I guess those that are built with software/circuit boards,etc.
could be expensive.

Well, there are so many great posts on here it's hard to pass ANY of them up! And since I'm a new FEC100 owner, I would hate to miss something important! The problem is that at this point they ALL seem important!
Thanks for finding that post for me, Okie! I guess quality doesn't come cheap! Have a great weekend...I think I'm going to throw a brisket on the smoker tonight...and a chicken or two...and while I'm at it a butt, I guess...sigh...these FECs just make it too easy...hahaha!

I hear you CW. We ask all the time to try searching, but you miss some of the fun posts that way. Search for the hot issues you have and just read for the rest.
