I wanted to get everyone's opinion on smoking without wood- basically using the CS as an oven. I was thinking about doing some chickens as a test but wanted to see what everyone says. I have a SM025- should I remove the smoker box or leave it in? I would imagine the food would still have a slight smokey flavor but am not sure. No speeches on why I would want to use the CS without wood please- Wink

Hey, whatever works for you. Like Tom said, just leave the wood out and go for it. I wouldn't remove the box, that changes the heat dynamics of how it runs, so don't.
