get some st louis spares, trimmed up. Season them.

Put them in at 275 for 4 hours. Check them.

That's a fast and tasty way to see the difference between the AQ and the FE. Moist vs Pellet smoke

I have had my FE100 for two weeks now and it is by far the best cooker I have ever cooked on. Now if I can just stop trying to apply my old habits from using a stick burner. I think there is an info-commercial that say's,set it and forget it. It is pretty close.
