Temps again

Ok, I installed the new auger motor Bill sent, seems it made no difference. Set FEC at 225 after 1 hour temps running a steady 250
Set cooking temp to 140 after 1 hour temp holding at 200-204 If the temp is set at 225 and its running at 260, why does it keep throwing pellets into the fire pot? Any help at this point would be appreciated. Maybe mainboard or controler bad? Can someone look at their auger that doesnt have temp swings and tell me if the rod runs through the entire length of the auger or just a few inches? thanks!
