Is it the quantity that you can't get, or are you after discounts?

I've found that the case price at Sam's is usually very good, and if the item you want also happens to be on sale, their price is usually unbeatable. I've bought as much as 1000# of butts and 400# of brisket from Sam's before and they didn't even blink an eye with 24 hours notice.

There usually isn't much (if any) discount on meat items from a food service supplier. My Sam's club price on pork butts, brisket, ribeyes, and chuck roll is within just a few cents a pound of the price from my food service supplier, and usually a few cents lower.
It wouldn't hurt to check out a food service supplier in your area. The salesman assigned to your location should be happy to spot check some prices for you before making you fill out a bunch of forms. But I suspect that this will just give you a base to judge other prices from, as suppliers offer prices that are usually pretty stable, but not all that low.

There are some exceptions though. Flank steak has gone way up around here recently at the retail level, but is much lower at the wholesale level, but more traditional/common cuts are usually less expensive at the retail level if you can find a merchant that does a lot of volume, i.e.: BJ's, Costco, Sam's and even the grocery store. If you live near a Piggly Wiggly check them out.
