Well this is the coldest cook I have done. 3 degrees right now. Another 2 hours and the 2 butts and 4 brisket flats will be done. Doing a lunch for scouts.

Well like everyone had been saying, the display faded away at about 23 degrees. But the cooker stay at temp at night.

Do have to say it's better sleeping weather than cooking.

The downside is at cookoffs,although you don't have to go out every 45 mins to feed the fire,if you get really bad cold,the FEC stays cool and you can't warmup, like the guys with a stickburner,that can stand or sleep next to it. Confused

Oh well,everyone must have a burden.

Of course,once Eddy taught me to put the bigmeats in at 8 PM,go to the motel, and come back when they were serving breakfast,this solved that dilemma. Cool
